Marry Me A Little Photography was born out of the warm reception that I received after photographing the weddings of my close friends and family. Now, I hope to bring my photographic skills to a wider audience and help capture your special day, one image at a time.
The name Marry Me A Little comes from a song written by Stephen Sondheim for the show Company. The song is sung by the protagonist Bobby after realizing that he is finally ready to find someone to spend the rest his life with. Sondheim's ability to convey how we all feel when we're ready for marriage is so perfect and true that I am inspired to create the same emotional impact with my own work.
Marry me a little,
Body, heart, and soul.
Passionate as hell
But always in control.
Want me first and foremost,
Keep me company.
That's the way it ought to be.
I'm ready!
- "Marry Me A Little" by Stephen Sondheim
I want to meet and, hear your story. Lets first and foremost, create a relationship. The most important goal for me, is to build trust between my myself and the people I photograph. I won't ever accept a job if I felt like couldn't establish a trusting and supporting relationship. Because at the end of day, I am here for you and promise to take the best photos I possibly can.
I will always stay true to who you are as individuals, as a couple, as lovers, and as family. Never phony. Always genuine.
